Those diets you’ve tried in the past and the food stories in your head have got to go. I teach you have to get rid of them – and once you do, you will have so much room for new thoughts, better thoughts, more exciting thoughts! And did I mention you get to start eating your favorite foods again without guilt?
In order to treat your body with respect, like feeding her the food she wants and needs, dressing her well, and moving her how she likes to move, you have to love your body. I will teach you how love your body so you can treat her how she deserves to be treated and so you can start feeling confident in her again.
It’s hard to know how much you are hungry for when diets have told you how much you *should* be hungry for, and when you should be hungry for them. Which is why I help you discover your own hunger and fullness cues again so you can eat as much food as your body needs and wants without eating too much.
First, you will learn how to decipher between an emotional and a physical craving and from there, you will know what to do. You will know when to go ahead and eat and enjoy OR when (and how!) to work on the true emotion instead of masking an emotion with food.
You are going to learn how to move your body in ways that make you excited to move, rather than dreading to move. You will learn what activities you need to add in to bring excitement to your life, so you stop using food as a friend. You will learn what you need when emotions arise, how to accept you for you, how to make life decisions with your intuition, and how to keep on keeping on when life isn’t going your way.
There is no one diet that is perfect for everyone, but there are foods that work well for you specifically! I help you figure out which foods those are through a process of discovery, rather than restriction.
After growing up around dieting and following the Dukan diet, I did not have the willpower to diet and restrict myself again, which is when I joined Caitlin’s Quit Dieting for Good program.
Since completing the program, I feel in control of my feelings around food. I feel no guilt, I feel free to make conscious choices and stand by those. What made the program so valuable for me was Caitlin’s support and to know that most of us women all face the same challenges in one way or another. To be able to share those thoughts in the group sessions, to talk through the emotions around food and to be coached through this process by Caitlin made it all an unforgettable and valuable experience.
These days, I feel less pressure to plan my meals and I make better choices in the moment. I listen more to what my body needs and wants. I still grab occasionally for my trigger foods but when I do, I do it by choice, I enjoy the moment, check in with myself how it made me feel and when it turned out it was not all that great, next time, I will think twice about that choice. It is a process in the mind that needs time but I learned in those 3 months that if I eat intuitively, it becomes much easier to make the right choice.

- You and I have an initial consultation where I learn all about you, your life, and your struggles so I know your story and can better help you on our group calls.

- You will join a group coaching call 3 times each month for three months, and on the call you will explain what’s going on so I can coach you and help you create one personal goal to work on (besides the program content). You will then have the opportunity to listen to the other women get coached, and learn valuable lessons from their food and body journeys.
- Everyday, you can receive support from myself and fellow participants in our online community created specifically for women in this group.

I decided to join Caitlin’s Quit Dieting for Good program to reclaim my body after 4 years of pregnancy and raising small children. I had slipped in to bad habits of eating chocolate just because it was there and I was lacking energy and feeling bloated and tired. Caitlin’s program helped me to achieve my goals.
Through mindful eating I gave myself the freedom to have treats when I wanted to and really savour them, but also to allow myself to stop when I’d had enough. I now almost subconsciously do checks to see what my body needs and I feel in control of my body and my health again. Will I lose weight?
I have to say, this is the first question I asked when I took my first intuitive eating course. The answer is that it’s possible, yes. But this is not a quick diet fix and I can’t promise that you will lose weight. I personally lost 20 pounds in a little over a year through this process, and have kept it off. But the work I did, and you will do, on body image will make you realize that it has nothing to do with weight, and everything to do with being happy in your own skin.
Will you tell me what to eat and will I need to buy certain foods?
Most certainly not. But I will guide you to start discovering foods that you enjoy and that make you feel good. I may give tips and ideas on new foods for you to try, but it is ultimately up to you what food you will eat for the duration of the course.
I think if I am given permission to eat what I want, all I’m going to eat is chocolate and pizza. How is that going to make me healthy?
Giving up diets is scary – there is a whole world of food out there you have restricted for so long! But I promise you, once I help you rewire your mindset around food, you will want to eat more than just chocolate and pizza. And you will most likely want to eat food that makes you feel good – including vegetables. EVERY client I’ve worked with has started eating more nutrient-dense foods on a regular basis because they want to nourish their body and feel energetic.
You say that if I learn this way of eating, it will be life-changing. What does that mean exactly?
I find that when women (myself included) learn how to give up dieting, trust their intuition, and start loving themselves, so many exciting things can happen! This new confidence can lead to a career change, traveling, finding a partner, improving relationships, and simply more daily enjoyment. Becoming aware of your food relationship is a first step in self-discovery, and the more you discover about yourself, the more positive changes are possible.
I’m really busy over the next few months. How much time will this require?
There are nine calls over three months, roughly 60-90 minutes each, plus homework assignments in between each call and they take no more than one hour. But, you might feel the need to spend more time, like 20 minutes a day journaling, if it seems like it will help your journey. You can really do as much or as little as you want, but at the minimum, the course will take on average one hour per week.
