TWELVE DRUMMERS DRUMMING ON YOUR HEAD
It’s never too early to think about the morning after a night out. Remember what that hangover feels like when twelve drummers are pounding their sticks on your head? And the greasy food you need to eat in order to make you feel better? There will be lots of alcohol around this month, so remember to drink it slowly, enjoy it to the fullest, and stick with one-ingredient drinks (think wine, champagne, beer). Those sugary mixed drinks with 12 ingredients will just add more drummers to the hangover band. And that hangover is just a downward spiral of unhealthy eating habits.
But, I know this is easier said than done, so my best advice? Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. Water should be your best friend everyday, always by your side. Plan on having a glass in between alcoholic beverages. And know that the bartender will gladly serve you soda water with a lime (that looks like a vodka soda) in case you are getting peer pressure to keep drinking.
